About Us

Candice Knight, PhD, EdD, APN, PMHNP-BC: Dr. Knight is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychiatric nurse practitioner and has been in private practice in Flemington, NJ, since 1982.  She has master’s degree in clinical psychology and psychiatric nursing and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology and education (history, sociology, and philosophy). She conducts psychiatric and psychological evaluations, prescribes psychiatric medication, and provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Dr. Knight is a certified Gestalt therapist who practices from a humanistic-existential framework. Whether providing psychotherapy or prescribing medications, she believes in the primacy of the therapeutic relationship and understanding her clients from an in-depth perspective. She has also received advanced training in Client-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy,  Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Re-decision Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Expressive Arts Therapy (music, art, and movement), Structural Family Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrates aspects of these approaches into her work.  Dr. Knight has special interests in trauma and stressor related disorders, anxiety disorders, and somatic disorders and enjoys working with clients across the lifespan.                                                                                                                                                                Contact: [email protected]   

Timothy Brown, MSW, LCSW: Timothy Brown is a licensed clinical social worker and has been in private practice in Flemington, NJ, since 1990. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work. Timothy provides individual, group, couple and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. He is a certified Gestalt therapist and practices from a humanistic-existential framework. Timothy also has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which he integrates in his work. He is also a certified yoga instructor and a certified stress management instructor. He has special interests in men's issues, gender issues, couple and family therapy, and clients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Bipolar Disorder, and Behavioral Addictions.                                                                                                                                                            Contact: [email protected]

Kimberly Stricker, MS, APN, PMHNP-BC: Kimberly Stricker is a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has been in practice since 2014. She earned a master's degree in psychiatric nursing from Rutgers University. Kimberly conducts psychiatric evaluations, prescribes psychiatric medication, and provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.  Kimberly has advanced training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and in treatment for substance use and addictive disorders. She has special interests in substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, attention deficit disorder (ADHD), depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder.
